Tuesday: Complete 18.1-18.2 Timeline Review of Major Events (Brown v. Board, Little Rock 9, etc.) 18.1 Blendspace
Wednesday: Read 18.2 and complete Civil Rights Organization WKST 18.2 Blendspace
Thursday: 18.2 Notes and Discussion. Focus on SNCC, SCLC, and NAACP 18.2 Blendspace
Friday: Discuss Freedom Riders, Clash at Birmingham, and March on Washington. Finish the week with a short 18.1-18.2 Quiz.

Monday: No School.
Tuesday: Chapter 17 Review WKST
Wednesday: Compare 1950-2015 (Entertainment, Family Make-up, Migration and Living Patterns, etc.)
Thursday: Read 18.1 and use the 9 terms on pg. 580 to show understanding.
Friday: Discuss 18.1 Questions and watch Mighty Times: Rosa Parks Story

Monday: Review early Cold War in Europe and begin Cold War in Asia. Read 16.2 518-523
Tuesday: Short reading quiz and discuss Korean War. Korean War Blendspace
Wednesday: 16.1-16.2 Review Activity. Read 16.3 (524-529) and complete 16.3 WKST. Arms Race
Thursday: Finish 16.3 w/ discussion on the Arms Race.
Friday: Cold War writing assignment. You will be asked to pick 4 of 6 given topics (from 16.1-16.2) and tell me what you know.
